Oh sweet sleep. Why do we need it?! (maybe that’s the coffee flowing through my veins talking?!) The truth is we do need it – and when you’re a momma it may come at few and far in-between tiny intervals of time. And never fails that when you FINALLY get all the things (well most of the things – good enough!) checked off the list for the day, and your head hits the pillow…

Mommas! Here are some GREAT helpful tips for helping those precious babes of yours to fall asleep….and STAY asleep! These are ideas to try. So if something isn’t working for you, DON’T GIVE UP! Try another oil, or blend, or combo! Keep trying! Everybody reacts differently to different combos – so find your sweet spot!
And really, who am I kidding…sometimes these Momma brains of ours just won’t shut off….so give it a shot for you too!!! Get that beauty sleep so you can rock it tomorrow!!
create a nighttime blend with 2 or 3 drops of a couple essential oils
+ Peace and Calming
+ Juniper Berry
+ Roman Chamomile
+ Ylang Ylang
LAVENDER PILLOW SPRAY
spray on pillow every night before bed
+ 1⁄4t epsom salt
+ 10 drops Lavender
+ fill with water
* I used these spray bottles
*Epsom salt allows the oil to disperse better throughout the bottle/spray
apply to feet and back of neck before bed
+ 15 drops Lavender
+ 10 drops Vetiver
+ 5 drops Frankincense
+ 5 drops Cedarwood
+ fill with coconut oil
*I used these rollers
this recipe is suggested for children over age 2
for babies under 2 try 2 drops Lavender and 2 drops Frankincense
WHIPPED SLEEPYTIME RUB
massage into feet before bed
+ Melt 1⁄4c Cacao Butter & 1⁄4c coconut oil in a pan – simmer until melted
+ Rest on counter for 10 minutes
+ Add 20 drops Lavender – 12 drops Vetiver or Cedarwood – 10 drops Frankincense
+ Refrigerate for 1 hour
+ When firm, whip with electric mixer until creamy and peaks form
